CU*@HOME Password Change

We will soon require expanded passwords and strong passwords. The longer and more complex a PC password is, the more difficult it is for an unauthorized person to obtain it. This will ensure greater security for your home banking account.

Expanded passwords offer the following additional security features:

• Home banking passwords can be up to 10 alphanumeric characters, including special characters.
• Passwords are case-sensitive (i.e., Ds443&sld is different from dS443&SLD)
• A minimum number of characters for the password. (At least 8 characters is recommended.)
• Passwords will expire after a certain period of non-use (such as 30 or 60 days).

If strong passwords are required, you will see helpful hints for safe Passwords on the PIN Change screens.

• Strong password rules require that passwords contain at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character.
• Make each password completely unique; do not use a new password similar to a previous one.
• Do not create a password using personal information that is not secret, such as a child's name, birthdate or pet's name.
• Passwords should not read the same backward and forward. For example, don't use “123321” or “MADAM” because it reads the same backward and forward.

When you log into CU*@HOME for the first time after the change has been made, you will be prompted to change your password.

After the password requirements change, you will see a “Change PIN” screen at login.
